About Us
Empowering Communities for a Better Tomorrow
Jamii Foundation is committed to enhancing the well-being of underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and economic development initiatives. Our goal is to create sustainable change and improve lives.
Who We Are
Jamii Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities through education, healthcare, and economic programs. We work closely with local partners to implement sustainable initiatives.
About JAMII FOUNDATION
JAMII FOUNDATION was founded by JACKLINE MARWA SIMANGWE, a passionate humanitarian dedicated to uplifting marginalized communities and individuals in need. With a strong commitment to social welfare, she established the foundation to provide essential support to vulnerable groups, including children, women, the elderly, and those facing economic and social hardships. Under her visionary leadership, JAMII FOUNDATION continues to drive impactful initiatives aimed at creating a more inclusive and empowered society.
JAMII FOUNDATION is established as a Non-Profit Organization with registration No. OONGO/R/7000, based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, as the headquarters. Our focus is to mobilize communities towards sustainable and responsible development, and to address problems surrounding youth and students, young mothers, street children, disabled people, the elderly, street prostitutes, broken marriages, orphans, widows, sick people, HIV/AIDS victims, and more. We also support youth to reach their dreams in education and self-employment.
Our Mission
Our mission is to uplift and empower underprivileged communities by providing access to quality education, healthcare, and financial support to foster self-sufficiency and growth.
Our Vision
To build a world where every community has equal access to opportunities for growth, development, and well-being, creating a sustainable future for all.
Our Focus
What We Do to Empower Communities
At Jamii Foundation, we focus on providing youth and women with the tools, education, and mentorship needed to help them succeed and create a sustainable future for themselves and their communities.
We ensure that the most vulnerable in society, including young mothers and street children, have access to essential resources such as food, shelter, and clothing to improve their quality of life.
We provide medical support to individuals struggling with health issues, including those battling HIV/AIDS, ensuring they receive the care and treatment they need for a better life.
Through our mentorship programs, we help individuals, particularly those from marginalized communities, build skills and gain the knowledge necessary to achieve their goals and dreams.
